Completely redesigned game, with all old Java methods deleted and rewerited in Kotlin. I've tried to focus on fast and clean code, knowning that App is not specialy visual attractive. From time to time I'll add some animations, but focus is on education.
The Satzbau is an app for Android that tries to teach you the basic rules of sentence building in German. Of course, there is no app that can make you learn a language, but it can help.
Many people say that the best way to learn something is through play. This game tries to train your brain to build a sentence in German language in the right order through try and repeat actions. All sentences are grouped by difficulty in 9 levels. You beginn with simple sentences in first level und through practice bild your way up. If you are good in sentence building then you earn more points and skip easy beginner's levels very fast. If you on the other hand need often to repeat or build your sentences wrong, then you earn small amount of points and should probably make more effort in the beginning. Sentences are chosen for you in random way. Some sentences are easier some hard. Some have more correct answers, so sometimes you need to try a few times before you get the right answer. There is a small element of luck just like in every game.
We use the adapted collection with 90,000 sentences from colloquial speech:
The results from all users are saved in an online database, and the best results are visible in game. App uses only your nick / designation, points in game, your level and date of last result. No other private data are used.
